Mgr. Tomáš Urban

Experience, Legal Specialization: Tomáš Urban is an Associate Attorney at BBH focusing on commercial and civil disputes before the courts in litigation as well as arbitration proceedings. Mr. Urban further deals with insurance, copyright and real estate property law.

Tomas took part in the successful representation of a client in an arbitration in Vienna worth tens of millions CZK concerning penalties arising from a shareholders agreement of a significant heavy industry conglomerate. Mr. Urban is further involved in the representation of a client, a significant property developer, in a complex international arbitration worth 31.8 million EUR. Tomáš also took part in the successful representations of important insurance firms in several disputes defending them against unjust claims for property insurance in amounts of tens of millions CZK and he was involved in the defense of clients in disputes involving  collective copyright administrators.

Tomas Urban has cooperated with BBH since 2005 when he successfully finished his studies at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and he qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2009.
