Mgr. Adam Nečas
Experience, Legal Specialization: Adam Nečas acts as of counsel with BBH advising on matters of law in the financial markets, banking and insurance areas, including regulatory and related issues.From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Nečas worked on the Securities and Exchange Commissionin the supervision of investment services. From 2006 to 2011, he worked at the Czech National Bank, first in the division of investment services and then inthe Licensing Division and, from 2010 to 2011, he was the Director of the Licensing Division, where he was responsible for the management of the authorization, registration and approval procedures in all sectors of the financial markets.
During his practice, Mr. Nečas has also been involved in drafting legislation and methodological materials in the transposition of European legislation on banking (Basel II), capital markets (MiFID, UCITS IV) and payment services and electronic money (PSD, EMD). Adam participated in the preparation of legislation necessary for the Czech pension reform and was a member of the Council Working Group on the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD). Adam also worked as a technical consultant to the ECB within the project of technical assistance for developing countries.
Mr. Nečas also lectures on the financial markets.
