Mgr. Ondřej Knebl
Experience, Legal Specialization: Ondřej Knebl is a Senior Lawyer at BBH specializing in public procurement, information and communication technology law, mergers and acquisitions and obligatory law. Over the course of his professional practice, Mr. Knebl has acquired extensive experience and knowledge not only in all of the fields of his specialization, but also in key aspects of outsourcing, e-commerce and PPP projects. He participated in all of the major contract drafting for a leasing software company serving business and governmental entities, including handling negotiations on complex technology solutions and electronic marketplace delivery. Mr. Knebl also advises utility companies and governmental institutions on their strategic procurement and investments.
Ondřej Knebl is leading a team of BBH lawyers which is participating in the provision of comprehensive legal services for the Ministry of Interior related to the purchase of project data and voice services for the public sector in the Czech Republic – project KIVS. He also participated in a unique outsourcing project in public administration for the Ministry of Interior in which he advised on the legal feasibility of certain parts of the project, considerations related to the contract documentation and the transfer of relevant rights and obligations. He is also preparing a central purchasing products leasing supplier of software for cooperation with government agencies. Ondřej Knebl most recently participated in the discussion of contracts for the provision of service information system data boxes and related issues.
Mr. Ondřej Knebl further provides legal services to Czech TV in the preparation and discussion of contractual documentation with Czech Radio, a.s. on the provision of broadcasting services for a public digital multiplex. Mr. Knebl also acted as legal counsel to the largest Czech insurance company in relation to the implementation of software for the management of insurance contracts (within life insurance) and provided solutions for other issues in IT law to several other clients who focus on the supply of IT consultancy services and e-business. Ondřej joined BBH in 2005. In 2004 becoming a member of the Czech Bar Association and has been appointed as a Member of the Appellate Committee of the Council of the Czech Telecommunication Office since October 2010.
