Mgr. Michal Strnad

Experience, Legal Specialization:Michal Strnad is a Senior Lawyer at BBH and focuses on the areas of commercial and civil disputes in court and arbitration proceedings. Michal also has extensive experience in execution and insolvency proceedings, whereas, he has published several articles in specialized media. In addition, Michal concentrates on contractual law, M&A and public procurement. 

During his practice, Michal Strnad was involved in the representation of a group of clients in disputes against the commission on forestry services related to their handling of supplies. Michal has also provided legal services pertaining to, among other things, execution proceedings related to a debt requisition exceeding the amount of CZK 400 million. Michal is currently representing a foreign periodical publisher in a dispute resulting from the breach of intellectual property rights. In the area of M&A, Michael was a member of the BBH team participating in the sale of shares of SKODA POWER to the Korean company Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction. 

Michal conducted the legal practice of a registered legal trainee in Pokorný Wagner & spol. law firm until February 2006 when he began his cooperation with BBH. Michal Strnad became an Attorney-at-Law in 2008 and is listed with the Czech Bar Association.
