  • PPF ECM Holding - the Real Estate Deal of the Year for 2009. BBH successfully represented of PPF in obtaining approval from the Czech Antimonopoly Office for the establishment of the joint-venture PPF ECM Holding.PF ECM Holding was formed in order to undertake one of the largest real estate projects in Central and Eastern Europe and is comprised of the real estate ventures and projects of PPF Group and Milan Janků´s privately held investment. This transaction may, without any doubt, be called the Real Estate Deal of the Year for 2009.
  • Česká pojišťovna a.s. We acted as legal counsel to Česká pojišťovna a.s. in connection with a transaction that has been referred to a number of times in the Czech media as “The Real Estate Deal of the Year”. This transaction is valued at over 200 mil. EUR.
  • E-Gate Administrative Centre Acquisition. We provided legal services to a company from PPF group in the purchase of a new significant and exclusive administrative building located in Prague, Czech Republic. The value of the project exceeded 60 mil. EUR.
  • Production Plants Acquisition I. We have been involved as local law advisors to New Star Property Asset Management, a UK investment management company, in the acquisition of several production plants all over Europe. The volume of the entire project exceeds 40 mil. EUR.
  • Production Plants Acquisition II. We have also been involved as local law advisors to a foreign asset management company in the acquisition of the production plants all over Europe. The volume of the entire project exceeds 55 mil. EUR.

Lease Business

  • Halfords. We represented Halfords (a UK chain of stores selling car accessories, satellite navigation and bikes) in connection with lease arrangement for their store in Retail Park in Pilsen, Czech Republic.
  • LRP Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz.We provided legal services to one of the most prominent German banks, a member of the LBBW-Group, concerning the financing of real estate investment in the Czech Republic.
  • Česká pojišťovna a.s. We successfully represented Česká pojišťovna a.s. in negotiations with state administrative bodies concerning the agreement on the lease of aprox. 10 000 square meters of non-residential premises located in a skyscraper building in the centre of Prague.
  • TK Development Group. On-going representation of TK Development Group (a major Czech real estate developer and member of Danish TK Development Group) in new projects and the management of the leasing of non-residential premises.

Project Development Business

  • AMADEUS REAL. Complex legal representation of one of the largest private Czech Real Estate investment groups, AMADEUS REAL in the following projects:
  • project completion of new administrative and shopping centre in the historical part of Brno (the second largest town in Czech Republic), the new centre has 6 floors, more than 3000 square meters of shopping premises and over 700 square meters of administrative premises;
  • project completion of newly opened business and shopping centre AMADEUS PRAGUE in historical part of Prague; the 4 floors centre with more than 1500 square meters of non-residential (shopping and administrative) premises and a large exclusive flat;
  • project completion of large shopping centre SEVER in Ústí nad Labem (capital of the North region of the Czech Republic); 3600 square meters containing more than 48 shops, restaurants and galleries and over 200 meters of administrative premises;
  • completion of project LIBEREC (regional capital), a new administrative and shopping centre; the new centre has 4 floors, more than 5400 square meters of shopping premises and over 750 square meters administrative premises;
  • preparation of a new project HRADEC KRALOVE (regional capital) in a centre of Hradec Kralove; the new 3 floors centre should contain more than 7200 square meters of non-residential (shopping and administrative) premises;
  • preparation of a new project OSTRAVA (regional capital) in a centre of Ostrava; the new 5 floors centre should contain more than 5000 square meters of non-residential (shopping and administrative) premises;
  • preparation of a new project PLZEN (regional capital) in a centre of Plzen; the new 3 floors centre should contain more than 9500 square meters of non-residential (shopping and administrative) premises (for more information about the projects see web www.amadeus-real.cz (Czech version only)).
